So as not to keep stealing Ken's thread, I'll start this one.
A burning question: Is it against the law to buy them in any colour other than SG? 
Really like that colour, but 1) everyone has SG and 2) the 90 is in SG too. His n Hers, how cute.... I'd consider Galway Green on a SW, but it's too dark when you have those solid rear panels. Likewise Zermatt looks good on an SW but I think is too light. Goldlocks? I would have had Cairns Blue if they still did it, but no.... As for Bali Blue, oh yes indeedy! But not availble unless you're surname begins with S 
So by default, looks like it might be SG after all.

It's against the law according to AndrewS to even consider having anything remotely associated with Land Rover painted or sprayed Bali Blue! Imagining anything in that colour is deemed a violation too!
Wait for it......"Did somebody mention Bali Blue?"  If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

I have meditated on the same question, to  or not to , that is the question!
I have a folder of other people's cars seen at various times on intermerweb (its to try to get wife to understand!) and have to say that the 07 metallic blue (cairns?), SG and black all look great, and more car like. White is the new black, and also looks the business - especially with black modulars etc (ti-fat-man clearly someone of taste!) but it does look a bit more "van like" in white. Personally I love it though. Think white is still flat and metallic is cost option? Izmir Blue is being deleted in MY11, only other blue I can see on LR site is Tamar Blue (solid not metallic?) I also heard that white is the new white for MY11 and "Fuji White" replaces "Alaska White", not seen any LR material yet that shows how the new white is more white than the old white?! I dont like the silver, also may affect resales if someone thinks it was once LRE? 
Can't say I am a fan of the greens... Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain... XS 110 Utility maybe one day..... (did they fix the quality yet?) |
