Just thought I'd share my experience so far and maybe let a few people know in the area (I struggled to find a good club locally at the start)
Not sure of any members are on here, but we have a few members local to the North West/North Wales area and I just though I should mention that I joined towards the end of last year (yearly membership Ł20 and all (Greenlaning, at least) events are free or Ł10 sometimes depending on who/when/where/how long. Only been on one event since the club doesn't run Greenlaning etc over the darkest months of winter, but I did one trip (when my defender was having a tantrum) in a brand new disco 4 - a camping trip to do Strata Florida and surrounding lanes, and had a great time! Will be going to the early march event in my 110 and can strongly recommend the club! There's a great mix of people/vehicles, some willing to go further and take more risks than others so suits all. Greenlaning seems to run nearly monthly at weekends and there are TYROs, trials and meet-ups regularly between. If anyone wants any info then I found best place to start was either their website here http://www.nwlrc.co.uk/index.html, there's a Facebook group or contact the email adreas on the site! You can ask me a question too, although I've not exactly been a member long Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
