So far not apart from wet feet when out cycling.

However, the wind has had more of an impact (no sprout jokes) was stuck on a train for hours the other night due to a tree falling on it. What was a 2hr journey took over 8hrs Big Cry

Wind damage for us, our business is damaged by it. Doubt we'll see any 5k though as pledged... ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Had to sandbag mum & dad's last weekend - they're about 200 yards from the Kennet - but have never had any flooding more than 50 yds from the river in over 30 years!

A lot of it is groundwater causing all the rain to flow around. the road was approx 1ft underwater over the weekend. Dried out by tuesday, hope this weekend is ok.

House still dry though, but was about 3" under the floor.

Ok where I am ( top of a hill ) but central Winchester has been affected by high groundwater levels.

I was out with 4x4 response in Colnbrook delivering sandbags and one guy said " don't bother it's coming through the floorboards " He was moving out to relatives and I felt for him.

I can only imagine the state inside and damage there will be to wood , electrics and plaster.

Stay safe everyone.

A few local roads closed for flooding, many homes in the village under water Sad
We're ok, although only 80 yards from the riverside, its a slight incline all the way to us, water would need to rise another 5 feet before it swamps us.

Not good though, all my usual dog walks are flooded too, poor Mutt never had so many walks on pavements Crying or Very sad
