We were supposed to be taking a press car from Land Rover Monthly out at the weekend but they had to cancel at the last minute. As you can imagine, I was pretty excited about having them along and I had made sure 2 of my Land Rover driving mates who were photographers, were out with us.
Well it seemed a shame to waste the day and having 2 guys along who know what they are doing, compared to my usual happy snaps made quite a difference to the end result picture wise. I thought these were brilliant. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |

Great photos but some with water being splashed sky high seem inappropriate for public right of ways.

Each to there own I guess. As I think the video description says, those shots were all staged by the photographers and controlled as carefully as we could manage. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.

Cheers mate. Just been watching your video of Stile End! We had a nightmare coming down through that. Well a nightmare in that it took us an age to get through safely. You guys seemed to sale through going up! Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |

think i heard farmer at bottom prefers 4x4s to go up rather than down as its supposed to be harder to man-oeuvre coming down! don't know how true that is! that was filmed in my disco 2, it has a much better turning circle than my 110! think it would take a bit more shunting to get the 110 around!! I'd never done it before and we came down it with a 110 and a D3.
Lesson learned that's for sure. Whilst we got down OK, it took about 30 minutes per car and a bit of a PR exercise with the two grumpy home owners at the gate to assure them we were being careful. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |

I think that will definitely be the case. I don't think I'd bother with it again no matter what vehicle I was in. Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.
