22k miles and the clutch gives up!!!
Well after owning my 110 USW for just 27 months and 22,000 miles the clutch gave up today with dramatic noises. I was recovering a customer car when it went at the bottom of a long hill north of Carmarthen. Sad

Car is now at the dealer and we await the hire car tommorrow Rolling Eyes

United Kingdom 1997 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Stornoway Grey
Is it coveed under warranty though? Normally is if due to premature failure, but excessive wear due to driver isn't. An engine to TDi for!

Not sure how it could be proven what is driver error and what is fair wear. A car of the spec and design of a defender should be fitted with a clutch that can last longer than 22000 miles of normal road driving.!!!

Got a 110 SW hire car in the meantime !!
