Like I said, I did see the wheel when I first went down to look at the car. The car itself was super clean, immaculate. The dealer has a very good reputation (one of the reasons that I chose them), when I went to pick it up I didn't think of checking again - my error. I've spoken to the owner in the past, he has always been courteous and professional, I'll have a word with him today and see what happens. I wasn't out to slate the dealer (which is why I've been hesitant to name them), as I know mistakes happen, but rather get some guidance and opinions from the learned and experienced members of this forum who have seen it all. |

By taking the car from the dealership you have in legal terms ACCEPTED it and any forthcoming complaints can legally be ignored by the seller unless of course said complaint is about fit for pupose niggles. A spare wheel was supplied and as a Non franchised outlet you cannot quote LR specifications.... buyer beware. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Thanks for all the helpful advice.
There was a bit of a misunderstanding, and all has been resolved. The owner is a classy guy, fair play to him. Now I can put this behind me and concentrate on driving and enjoying my Defender... clunks, squeaks and all. |

Did the resolution also include the placement of a fifth alloy behind you as well???? Hope so! ( Nicks if you read this you need to sort out your 'pm's' I sent you one on 26th March and it's still sat in my outbox despite you logging on!) If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
