Seems like your switches are dirty or corroded. Take them out and clean the contacts and the screw hole

Will give them a clean
So all I have to do is add the new switches and a earth wire from the switch up to the earth wire connected to the lamp? |

I'm pretty sure that the switches are triggered by a small metal tab in the leading edge of each door. If yours has never had switches fitted then it would be worth checking if those tabs are there before making a start. Darren

It has the switches fitted to the front doors but not the middle or rear, though the tabs are present
The rear door will need a tab making up though that should take all of 5 minutes. |
