weird stuff going on - flashing hazards and weird power loss
Hi all, I have a late 07 Puma 90.
last couple of days when I turn on the ignition my hazards flash twice.

Also yesterday the engine light came on, stayed on for one 15min journey and was never on again.

Today no engine light on dash, however i still have the 2 indicator arrows (in dash) flashing twice when i turn on the ignition.

Lastly, on one occasion, when the landy was really cold (12C is Cold for Malta) this morning it was not taking the gas, seemed totally powerless for the first 5 mins of my journey, then heated up and all was fine all day.

Its still at around 25K miles....so shouldnt have anything to do with wear....any ideas?

Something looking for an earth possibly, battery voltage ok on cranking ? that's where I would start.

Two faults

keyfob battery needs replacing

Dodgy diesel / blocked filter??

actually was my alarm, a toad A850T2. Swapped it out for a different (cheaper) Toad alarm and all was well.

Engine light never appeared again at the time.

Power loss sounds like egr valve failure to me which could cause engine light to come on
