My TD5 in the Peak District

Yesterday I took my self off to the Peak District to do a few green lanes, only gentle ones as I've never been before and really enjoyed it, didn't want to do any that were too scratchy
One small one I went down was quite tight and steep and tested my driving skills then half way down there was a small film crew which followed me down filming, I asked them who they were and one said they were from the bbc and the local residents were trying to get the lane restricted, he said it was bikes that they were complaining about mainly but the film guy didn't seem to be very sympathetic to their cause saying they were just looking for something to moan about, but I enjoyed myself and didn't cause any grief to any one

The weather started off lovely and sunny and then got hit by a storm on the way back with rain, hail, thunder and lightning

Also I didn't see any other 4x4s or bikes on the 6 lanes I went on or in between!

Absolutely superb looking Land Rover doing exactly what it is designed to do. The colour is great, the wheels are great and those tracks look great fun to explore. Thanks for sharing - great choice of specification by a master of understatement.

p.s. Can you give us a hint as to the location of those tracks?

Thanks all for the kind words, it is a beautiful part of the country, all the lanes I went on were near hathersage

Yeah the camera crew were strange, I stopped at the bottom of that lane and the camera man set up on a tripod at the end of the road, I guess they were just filming the traffic? The guy I spoke to did tell me what the filming was for but I forgot.... It was something like watchdog.... But not, ha
