England 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 X-Tech LE Orkney Grey
[Wanted] MK3 Sankey Wide Track Trailer Wolf
Hi All,

I am looking for a MK3 Wolf Wide Track Sankey Trailer only. It must be a MK3 with disk brakes and a tailgate, I have a decent budget for one as long as it is a completely sound example, A bit of surface rust I can handle to rub down but no holes and no bits requiring replacement. Those of you who have met me will understand why.....I have soft hands Embarassed

I know that there has been a bit of a local flurry in the requirement of Sankey Trailers, but my requirement is for a just cause. I will be taking the defender to la Mans this year and in the small contingent of 20-30 gentleman the issue of expensive beer was raised. Now in the local area we have the Chiltern Brewery and the epic Marlow Rebellion brewery which is very cost effective in large keg quantities with taps available. We would like to take a few of these for the 4 or so days that we will be down there and in order to keep the defender free to travel on will be place a roof tent on the trailer......idea stolen from BPMAN.

Please let me know if anyone knows one needing a new home? It will be well looked after and willing to travel within reason from High Wycombe for the right find. ===================================

yeah, plans changed, new garage is now tall enough for the RTT to stay on the ICE, so no need for trailer. It's very red but rust free, LED lights etc.

Look for Viking Mk3 also.
They're identical.

As well as Reynolds Boughton and Arrows, although they're universally known as 'Sankey'. Darren

The FV2381 Mk 3 used with Wolf wasn't actually made by Sankey, but by Reynolds Boughton, Viking Trailers & Universal Engineering.

Keep an eye on eBay. There's on only one on there at the moment and it's a fair distance from you, but there does seem to be a steady stream if you wait long enough.

Hi all,

Thanks for the advise. The problem is that they all seem to have seen better days and still be up in the £400-£500 mark and need at least £100-£200 of cleaning up. Even the surplus guys I've spoken too are having trouble finding mk3's without rusty bullet holes from my conversations today Sad

BPMAN. You've got mail Smile
