Scottish power - online meter readings

Does anyone else do the Scottish Power on-line meter readings? Normally I get an email asking for the meter readings. This month I was unsure if I had missed the reading as I didn't get an email.
Spoke to SP and it turns out, that the email request for meter readings was turned off late last year (Nov/Dec) is my guess.
The reason from SP was that they are getting a large amount of email traffic over the last few months and turned it off.
So, if you are a SP customer and do on-line meter readings and not had an email reminder, this is why!

If I had not spoken to SP, it would have been an estimated bill! 1999 Defender TD5 110

interesting, i thought I was online with Scot power but last week someone came round to read the meters aswell! 2.2 90 XS

I think that's normal, probably to make sure you ain't fiddling the numbers 1999 Defender TD5 110
