For a minute there I thought I had wasted my time and money buying the dutch relay loom, however having just studied the drawings I concurr with ZeDefender that full current still appears to go throught the column switch despite there being a relay in the circuit. It appears the relay is just there to control the lighting systems logic DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

In any event, I measured the difference with the new loom - a 0.7 volt increase is good in anyone's money
*Edit* and if any existing relay was doing its job, the light switch wouldn't burst into flames Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Is the relay in the standard system to provide, stop power due to ignition position? So when ignition is off it cuts the headlights to sidelights only?
