If you've got filaments over 65W (classed as offroad) the switch light must only come on when the lights are physically illuminated, not when they are 'armed' (the switch is depressed but lights extinguished). Not sure about road legal filaments if the dash high beam lamp will suffice. Have you commenced the window replacements yet? Cool, cheers all. I'm making a loom up for Walfy, so just wanted to check I got it the right way round.

The "gen" loom lights as above,, (95% sure) but they are for the standard LR supplied lamp kit so guess 55W California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

The blue wire goes all the way over to the dash, to pick up the main beam signal California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

It's unfortunately an MOT fail if the filaments are offroad classification and the switch doesn't illuminate when the lights are physically illuminated.

^^^^ Yeah, I see that routing from the .pdf doc above.
We're just deciding whether to pull the binnacle apart to hook up to the main beam feed, or, as I'm making the loom up anyway, run another wire down to the front of the vehicle (along with the LED bar feed) and hook into the back of the LH headlight main beam feed from there. It's up to the vehicle owner. I'll let him decide |

You know me better than that Jamie,
He just needs some bling !! plus, maybe the fact that he was "outshown" with his Lightforce by some 35W Hid's Personally, don't think the "silly light bars" suit the timeless line's of a Defender, but they work well Now a pair of KC's or Oscars California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

Oi, you 2. Round lights belong in the 80's. Get with modern times.
Lightbar is fitted and I think it looks nice where I've fitted it. Tucked up under the top spar of the A bar. Works for me. No need for bling. Just a need for some decent light up front. I'd rather have poor lights than fail to climb a sandy slope off the beach. .
