here's mine fitted with checker plate and side steps
(well it would be if i could get photos to upload , or photobucket was working today)

my mud flaps are fitted wider than standard so i had to trim them a bit

driver side looked a better fit before i bent the step into the sill

Now fitted, as above not sure how to post photos on here. But have used bigger rivets as the stock ones were a bit weedy through chequer plate.

Also unlike photo above have used mastic to fill I'm cracks, if you do not do this the wet watery mud can still get through from below.

Only slight worry is in the event of a mild side swipe they may not give. I doubt these will come off in the snow, but easy enough to replace of they do.
