Crossmember mounting
Something I only noticed today is the extra 4 bolts on a 90 crossmember that a 110 doesn't have.

I assume it's just the way the body is mounted, but what is it?

You can see the extra 4 bolts on the outside edges of the crossmember.

I realise this is common knowledge, but as I've never owned a 90, I didn't realise they existed.

i **think** someone on here mentioned seatbelt mounting brackets or something of that sort? sure i saw these mentioned in topics about fitting rear seats to a 90HT, but i stand corrected if someone knows better.

they're not present on a 90 HT (at least they weren't on my '58 plate 90 county hard top 2.4) so that indicates seats to me? Cheers, David

Correct. Here you see them on my 7 seater, they were painted black together with the rear crossmember.

My Kaymar remains excellent, virtually as new. I only have one small paint flake gone at the side of the main mounting plate. That will be taken care of this spring. But otherwise, no complaints, it is on the truck for I think 4 years now.

Don't bother with hammerite, it comes off nearly as quickly as you can paint it on!
