Get a can of WD40 and squirt it up ib the cavity at top of the pedals. I squirt all mine monthly. Aim for the springs thats what squeeks. Its a land rover quirk youll grow to love

Just remember to put some newspaper/cardboard on the floor under the pedals esp. if you're spraying from above.
After silicone spray, Mr Sheen and lithium grease, half a tin of 3 in 1 may have fixed it on mine. Looks like some awful chemistry experiment under there now. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop Now a 2013 110 USW too. |

I had a similar problem, creaky clutch pedal.
Then something weird happened. Coming down a slip road to a roundabout, put my foot on the clutch, depressed, changed gear took foot off pedal. Pedal stayed down. Thought it was a knackered master cylinder. Turned out the pedal was just stuck. A dose of WD40 and I've not had the problem since and no creak either and that was 2 years ago. Right chaps, had a crawl around the truck in daylight today and the creaking is definitely not clutch pedal related.
It's coming through the floor pan/tunnel area right by the clutch pedal. Something ain't tight somewhere by the sound of it. We've booked it into the stealers a week Monday to let them sort it out. Strange one !! |

I posted this as the exact same symptoms in the exact same plece i had Impossible to find by yourself and it drove me crazy for weeks .dealer had it 3 different times even changing both sides bushes on everything but to no avail . Fiinaly they found it ..... One person underneath looking whilst 2 on top either side rocking it side to side . There is a one inch 10mm standard LR bolt in the location of drivers floor - gearbox tunnel . Its well hidden and the wrong bolt for the job , far to small and was bent like a banana when they got it out . Simply replaced with a more adequite bigger heavier bolt . |

Mine had the bushes, and then the pedal box replaced by the dealers (under warranty) to fix same issue. Didnt fix... 2 more visits later and it was fixed. They didnt tell me what they replaced/lubed but there was lots of swearing.
Seems like a common issue. 4 months on and still good. |

Well its deffo not the pedal box, crawled all over it and it's coming from the tunnel, floor bulkhead area.
Went into the dealers last week, apparently tightened some bolts, stopped the creaking for 15 miles now it's back just as bad. It's going back in for a couple of days to get to the bottom of what's what. |
