Not good! I had already instructed Adrian Flux NOT to insure me with Markerstudy prior to your experiences. In reality your difficulties are nobody elses problem unless they too have the misfortune to make a claim and experience the same or similar poor standard of service. Markerstudy 'rattled my cage' with their belligerent 'bully boy' tactics when all I wanted to do was inform them of a no fault, no damage to my Defender accident that the other driver was insistent he would claim off my insurance.

I hope the above makes sense, I knew what I was trying to say.

Your feedback about Markerstudy is not surprising in my view but that of Adrian Flux has struck a nerve with me even though I have never had reason to claim. My insurance is due in 4 months time and I have already passed my details onto A-Plan for them to give me a call nearer the time. Cost nowt but a phonecall and a little time. Thank you.

Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

FYI: when I got a quote from A-Plan, the insurer/underwriter was Markerstudy. For £40 more I went (stayed) with NFU.

cheers

Now that is interesting. Direct may be the route to take. Thumbs Up

Have asked a couple of questions in light of this on the A-Plan's thread. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Well I have the 110 back and it's all fixed. I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for the loss of use, excess, train fares, phones calls etc but that's another story. "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!

I would say avoid at all costs - I am with Equity via Flux and they have been awful since the bonnet was stolen.

12 working days in and now it seems that the 'approved' repairer forgot to order the bonnet release mechanism to go with the new bonnet they ordered………

12 days to order, spray & fit a new bonnet and replace the drivers window.

A quick poll of other local garages revealed a 4/5 day turnaround.

A typical example of you get what you pay for…..Flux were cheaper but now I know why.

No updates, no calls unless I chase them, hours on hold.

I will also add that today I have received a refund of £12 from a policy I canx last August (sadly it has been paid to an old account that no longer exists) They did however inform me that i could chase my bank if I liked to to change the account the refund goes into…………top class service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One which will show Flux's level of competence.

I had an accident back in December 2012. Not my fault - but it has taken me till this month May 2014 to get them to acknowledge this and re-adjust my premiums.

As I pay monthly i got a partial refund through the credit company of nearly £600, but they also sent me a cheque... for £1,000. Followed by frantic phone calls to tell me that they had overissued on the cheque and would i be so kind as to return it to them so they could send me a cheque for £180..... bit of a difference. The Rules:-
