Time has come to part ways with my defender was planning to keep land rover ownership but the dealers around mine are no use at all. (wouldn't lend me a 110 to see if it will fit in my garage, no interest in trying to sell me a evoque or disco4)

also for any potential buyer, the car is remapped, which goes great but i wanted a little more so i have the alive ultimate intercooler, atric and sports exhaust with decat, none of which is installed yet as i bought it then changed hearts over the car so can include this or will sell it separate once the car goes, i might even put it on the car if there is little interest for now as its my every day car for now (drive 6 miles / day in it)

A 110 was the plan but the service I got from the dealership quickly turned me away from that, also fancy something different.

i bought it and had it serviced at carlisle, who to be honest the service department have been great, sales not too interested as with my college schedule and there opening hours id need to keep the car for a few days before i could take it back. but it was newcastle land rover that had no interest in selling me anything apart from a new range rover and were particularly useless which at 21, noway i can currently afford.

You mentioned an ALIVE ATRIC unit? How pleased were you with it, will it work on another 2.4, will I have to do anything (send files to alive, program to my ECU, etc) and are you willing to part company with it?
I'd be interested... Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

the atric is a really cool little device, fire alive a pm or email about one, id rather not part with it yet as I'm unsure of the cars future (if its going to sell as is or if ill have to split) and if i remove the larger intercooler and decat / ss exhaust it will need to go to standard calibration
not an expert on it but, download software from alines website, choose 'defender' from the list, it sets the atric up, then you plug into the car, it pulls the info off, back to the laptop email the file to alive for tweaking, get the file back and same again just a matter of plugging the box in.. much better remap than was previously on the car. i did stage 1 for 1, with no intercooler / exhuast initially. guess this is the best place to have a look http://www.alivetuning.com/docs/ATRIC_Manual.pdf |

110? thats what i hoped for but with dealers being dealers quickly ended that dream I'm leaving the land rover pack completely been test driving a john cooper works mini and gonna have a look at a 61 plate audi rs3... will maybe get another defender in 2015, will probably just buy a nene or twisted truck already modified and keep it.
