Went to Blithfield Reservoir late last night to take some starry shots, so thought I'd grab one of the Defender.
It's not quite what I wanted, but good enough to share; Click image to enlarge Under The Stars by Craig Rogers, on Flickr Below is the photo I did actually keep; Click image to enlarge Blithfield Reservoir by Craig Rogers, on Flickr Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography Last edited by x-isle on 6th Jan 2014 1:42pm. Thanks for the good comments all.
The 2nd photo is pretty much as is, just some exposure and colour corrections done in Lighroom. The only cheating I did was I removed 2 airplane trails. The first one is 2 shots. One 20 second exposure for the stars to be captured with the lights off and then another 10 second exposure with the lights on and an LED torch lighting the side of the truck. Then I layered them on top of each other in Photoshop. It would be impossible for a camera to capture both the stars and the spot lights in one image.
