dgardel, what size AT2s are you running? Apparently not all sizes of AT2 have the snowflake symbol. Mine are 235/85 R16 and DO have the snowflake symbol

Any Swedes here?

I see on the Swedish list that BFG ATs are only before October 2004 (note 5)..
but surely 9 year old tyres aren't a good thing...

Am I reading it wrong?

Not Swedish, but I have the BFG AT 265/75R16 from 2010, and they are mountain/snowflake rated. Cheers, Vincent

General AT2 work better in the snow than BFG AT KO and suite my driving style, I also find the BFG is not quite as sure footed in the wet. BFG last longer though but General AT2 are better on price. Thumbs Up Andy.

Raised White Letters have the markings, will find out on Monday about the Black sidewalls, another difference is BSW is "Q" rated and RWL is "S" rated. Andy.

Plenty of 235/85x16 AT tyres with the snowflake/mountain on the sidewall. Thumbs Up Andy.

Think we can shelve this discussion for half a year or so.... Winter is over, spring has arrived, it is today almost 20°C here, and 10 day forecast not much different.
Have an appointment at dealer next week for changing my winter rims/tires for my summer boots, the good old GG TRs. Seems I am not the only one who is changing this early here.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
