Green Lane Type Pay & Play in Wigan
I went to a Pay & Play site just before Christmas in Wigan. It’s not usually my thing at all and the last time I went it was a bit dicey to be honest.

I've since become mates with one of the organisers so I thought I would go and give it another go. There is the usual selection of man-made type obstacles but I got the guided tour around some of the lane type routes there are there and I have to say it was a bit of fun and quite closely replicated some of the lanes I've done in Wales. Lots of mud, wading, winching and some interesting climbs.

Its quite local to me. Sometimes you just want to get in your Landy without too much prep and have a bit of fun and its good for that. Even better if you want to test something out before you travel miles away on a trip! Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.

It's about 30 miles away from me, so I may have to pop over some time! Have they got a website? An engine to TDi for!

No they are quite slack on that side and once you go they try to get your phone number and communicate the dates by text. Next one is the 19th of January Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.
