I purchased one of these off ebay "12V Digital Car Voltage Monitor Battery Alarm Clock LCD Temperature Thermometer"
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231017677846?ssP...1439.l2649 I was thinking of mounting it just by interior light and then taking a power feed from the interior light circuit? and for the outside temp sensor I was going to try and locate it behind the bumper? 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

This may be an interesting thread for you:
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic5492.html I have a CheckTemp II. The feed was taken from the Radio (as per the thread). My external temp sensor is in the front drivers side wheelarch behind the headlight. That's not a bad position for the sensor, but it can read abnormal if the vehicle is stationary...once moving it's pretty accurate. The bumper probably could make a good position for it Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |
