It's for this reason I'll never buy halfords tools again. Had the sales rep call into my work and dished out a load of trade cards. Was promised the need for receipt had been sorted. Long story short, has it hell. |

Buy iti havethree. One was a starter set for my work tool box(ive built that up quite a bit now lol) one in my truck with a hammer next to it. And a third in my garage. honestly cant do better any hwere else. Good quality, low price and lifetime guarentee. Which I have used on a few occasions. Most places you dont require your reciept however some are fussy.my solution to that is get louder until they change it lol

We must have some really crap halfords stores round here. After breaking a 19mm 6 point 1/2 drive socket several times, they refused to honour the warranty. After speaking to someone higher up the chain I was told the warranty is only at the managers discretion. They suggestion sending the items to head office recorded delivery. Mind you, they couldn't give me an address to send them.

Just got one as a gift for my birthday, quality seems very good, time will tell but you can't go far wrong with a lifetime warranty. You only have one life, live it....forget the cost.

The 150 piece set is £80 today too. They bundle it with a pro 8-60 NM torque wrench too for £150 - not sure if that's a decent deal? 2009 110 XS Station Wagon
