Hey there - welcome
There's a growing fan base for the 130 so you're amongst a distinguished crowd One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

Max,
Mine made an aweful noise in 1st gear on anti stall. The rattle was the clutch springs...new clutch sorted it. Where are you, you need to get site admin to add a flag. Hope this helps Ian |

Are they like the Peoples' Front of Judea? Or the Judean's Peoples' Front?

The Yorkshire National Liberation Army, is based on our heroes "People's front of Judea" cos we agree what did the Romans ever do for us eh! Built bloody roads right across our moors that what, nearly as bad as the Vandals. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Hi max
I havent driven a puma 90 or 110 but can't imagine there is any difference with first gear, also when in 1st low mine is very smooth and without any rattles. I use the anti stall all the time dragging large trees around, i think it's great and it saves alot of wear and tear on the clutch. 130 crew cab 98 V8 Disco |

thanks for the replys parktag and triggers, I was at the dealership today for service and while getting looked at the mechanic said he needed a deep check, I should take it back saturday. although he said its nothing to worry about. I didnt mention before I got my transfer and clutch replaced by warranty, rattles did decrease but they are still there. my '06 td5 90 didnt have any ever (for 95000 km Ihad it), or I guess the engine was just lowder and I didnt notice. they dont bother me it just intrigues me something is going wrong with my car, since I intend to keep it forever, after Defenders are gone I want to have one to pass on to my kids. Any suggestions would be appreciated, since here in Central America Defenders are not as popular, even dealership mechanics arent so good. still, my 130 works hard everyday.
110SEB about the pictures, I dont have any blog or webpage where I can upload them so I can paste the url, Ill get one when Ihave some spare time. nothing special on accesories, snorkel, lamp guards chawton white paint and tinted windows. stock wheels and tyres cheers '08 Defender 130 '79 Series III |

I have (had ) the same idea to keep it until vanishes. You can ask the Administrator to set up a flag for you if you want.
Can you tell if you got the updated clutch? If not burn it M Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |

thanks brew, but all i got was this :
Showing images in posts Adding an image to a post phpBB BBCode incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. Two very important things to remember when using this tag are: many users do not appreciate lots of images being shown in posts and second, the image you display must already be available on the Internet (it cannot exist only on your computer, for example, unless you run a webserver!). There is currently no way of storing images locally with phpBB (all these issues are expected to be addressed in the next release of phpBB). To display an image, you must surround the URL pointing to the image with As noted in the URL section above you can wrap an image in a [url][/url] tag if you wish, eg. " might as well email you all!
