I bought two sets as well, arrived next day.
Give them a call and they will knock a bit more off each set |

Just a quick question.
Do you just fit chains to one axel if so which is the best one.? Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Assuming that your talking about chains on a Defender, the best bet is to fit to all wheels. If you only have one pair, best bet is the front axle, however whatever you fit and wherever you fit it be careful that the chains don't foul the chassis, suspension, steering, brake pipes, ABS sensor wiring (if fitted).
As an example, it is very easy to do considerable damage to the front of a Disco 2 by fitting unsuitable chains! |

I have never in more years than I care to mention used snow chains, I fear that they would as has already been said cause damage to the vehicle.
I did a couple of years ago purchase a set for a Transit Connect as was not happy with the fit even though they appear to be tight the flapped about which frighten the life out me so I never drove with them on. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |
