[Wanted] HD 110 front spring NRC9448 NRC9449
Hi All,

After some HD front springs as i'm shortly going to fit a winch and bumper.

Spring are P/N: NRC9448 (blue/red paint) and NRC9449 (yellow/white), these are the 110 front HD springs or standard rear springs on a 90.

Only after LR genuine items, or OEM in a new or nearly new (take off) condition Thumbs Up

PM me if you have anything, can send a courier to collect.

Just a suggestion... i'd try driving the vehicle first prior to fitting the HD springs.

I've had various winches/bumpers/springs on rovers, and currently have a Husky in a standard bumper, with standard front springs. It handles fine and hasn't "sagged" at all with the weight.

I tried HD springs and to be honest, the ride was awful.... I don't think the weight up front was heavy enough to make the springs work properly.

I would second what Diesel_Jim has said.

I have an HD bumper with Husky (with SWR) on the front of my Puma DC and the ride and posture is fine on standard front springs.

I also have an XD9000 (again SWR) on the front of my Disco2, dealer fitted from new on standard springs, and the ride and handling on that was fine too. After 10 years and 200k miles of hard use, one front spring broke, so I replaced both fronts with the LR HD option (genuine parts) recommended for use with a winch. The front is now 1" higher than the back and it looks odd, as though the front's been lifted and not the back! Still drives and handles fine, though, and the headlight beams reach further down the road too!
