Hi all,
a lot of people looking at all sorts of lighting options at the moment so I thought I'd gauge the interest, if any, in the HID lights I can get from Eastern Europe. Estonian military units, 5" oval, plastic cased, hard-wearing but weigh next to nothing, good driving pattern (we use them on the race cars), proper HID complete with ballasts, draw is only 35w and they are mega bright, proper night into day stuff. Having spoken to my suppliers, these work out at £350 per pair, delivered to your door - compare that to over a £1000 per pair for the Lightforce or Warn offerings, plus I think these look better too So, if you fancy a pair (or more!), post up here or drop me a PM and I'll add you to the list, would like to place the order at the end of the month... These really are lovely and the light output is amazing. These are the single bulb 12v versions, I've also got 24v and twin bulbs (if you happen to work on the dark side of the moon ) Ross Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated The Scotia Winch Challenge |

Without being funny mate, pretty much anywhere you want! All the OE wiring connectors and the ballast boxes are waterproof so can be positioned wherever suits you best. Mine are mounted behind the panel immediately below the front grill, been submerged many a time and none the worse for it.
Hope that helps, Ross The Scotia Winch Challenge |

Hi Ross sorry for any delay. I have the cage fitted now and with the canoe on top there is no clearance for lights. I have gone with the X-eng cage lights instead.
Thanks anyway looks like a good deal mate Simon 59 2.4 110 XS Utility 55 TD5 110 CSW Special Vehicle |
