offset on sawtooths is better than the boost so looks a little wider 2020 P300 HSE

ET 20, I think, compared to the 33 standard. So it stands 13cm wider on each side.
A 265 tyre compared to a 235, adds 3cm in total or 15cm on a side, so you get about the same effect. If now you fitted 265 tyres, you'd have a stance like a 285 tyre on standard rims, in fact it'll be 8mm wider on each side and probably stick out of your arches. In fact 255 would be better but then you 'd have a higher tyre, as they are 85s too, which is not good either. I'd stick to 235s on those rims if I were you. |

How it works:
ET = distance center of rim to where it's bolted on, less gives more left to stick out. 235x85x16=> 16 = rim diameter in inches 235 = tyre width in mm 85 = tyre rubber height in percentage of width (235 x 85%) Full diameter = 2x rubber height + rim diameter. The rest is just Maths and logic. |
