^ wow ^
Last week, my TD5 side vent fell off whilst just jet washing After a quick word with ChurchFarm LandRovers, I have just pre-drilled the vent & then self tapped (after generous silkaflex beading) the damm thing back on! Why oh Why did Solihull rely on x5 brittle plastic lugs on the first place? TT "Ease your worries, Clear-up your woes, Go into your garage & put stuff into rows." A small reward was passing this scene to get to Addo - the smallest baby elephant I have ever seen! Africa throws it all at you.

Thanks all but these are the two ladies behind it. Two Catholic nuns from Ireland who have dedicated their lives to these people, living amongst them. Here they are with an old woman who had to have her leg amputated in May. These two are the heroes.

Having changed the rear trailing arm bushes on the TD5 to Superpro decided to take it in to a local garage to have the rest of the kit, front radius arm bushes and panhard rod bushes, done.
Radius arms done OK (they did have a few problems pressing the old bushes out) but then they found that my 2002my (Dec 2001 registered) TD5 has a 2001 and earlier panhard rod fitted Now got to source a set of 2001 Superpro panhard rod bushes yesterday (in Somerset) to get the job finished. Can we have a Defender2 annual prize for the best use of a Defender? You have to be the first winner. Bravo. |
