Its been a while since I posted on my Defender, since the last update I'd removed the RAI to help it run better in anti-stall mode and improve the mpg (upto 30mpg now) . Got some cheap TX alloys of ebay to run Conti CrossContacts (great tyres) . And lately a set of Sawtooths (as an early chrimbo pressie to it)
As some general blurb I didn't know before the Sawtooths have a smaller center cap bore than the boosts. 50 vs 70mm and it looks like the offset is IS20 rather than 33? of the Boosts .
Thankfully mine came with Center caps as I'd have probably ordered boost size ones thinking they were the same.
Downside is my friendly tyre fitter isn't available this week to swap my contis over Sad so I'll have to wait ... so will make do with a pic of one on the kitchen table (don't tell the missus) .
I had been thinking of Blindos as a potential wheel choice but got a better price on the sawtooths. 2023 110 P400e

Got Sawtooths on my 90, really sets it off better than the Boost alloys, still got 30mm spacers fitted just to make it look like the four corners are full, Whistle I do my thing and you do yours. I had spacers with the Boost alloys, as they just looked the part, took them off and fitted the Sawtooths-which looked OK

Then had second thoughts and put them back on, they are only just inside the wheel arch's but i think she sits pretty good now, not so skinny or set back in the wheel arch's I do my thing and you do yours. Had the Contis fitted to the Sawtooths yesterday and mounted in between the hailstorm showers . Took a quick pic , though its hard to see the increase in offset in this its definitely noticeable when standing next to it. Very Happy

Hmmmm

Shall I use the 110 or T350?

Both handbuilt on steel chassis by monkeys in England
