You really want to avoid the seller. I bought a TD5 from them and in went bang very dramatically on the motorway within 5 miles of collecting it. Rear axle locked up at 65+ when the transfer box failed.
Luckily they gave me my money back. Very lucky escape |

It's unfortunate about the transfer box but why avoid the seller if they gave you your money back? Surely, that's what you'd expect from a reputable company? Darren

The whole experience was bad including the promises they made about the vehicle and it's pre sales checks that weren't done. Also the conversation when I was recovered by they're mechanic into the way the operate was an eye opener but not for open forum.

I would ship this one to the USA for import, claiming that it is older than 25 years.... Customs there will then properly "process" it. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Hahaha, I saw that a while ago when I was looking at a 110 DC they had. Almost made me barf.
Sadly my political correctness prevents me from identifying the typical target market for a vehicle of that erm, questionable style. 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful 2007 110 XS DCPU - An itch that needed scratching 2005 90 Td5 XS CSW - Utterly brilliant 2001 Discovery 2 ES Auto - A phase I went through 1996 90 Tdi CSW - Uber reliable 1989 90 2.5 Petrol Hardtop - My first proper Landy 1985 Range Rover Vogue V8 -Troublesome |

The saddest thing is that the colour isn't even the worst feature:
