Drove 170 miles today in the Discovery 3 to pick up new Puma heated front seats in Modus fabric for a bargain price of £290!
Got back about 8.30pm after an curry on arrival back in the hometown and fitted one in so I have somewhere to sit for my commute to work in the morning as I sold all the old seats on Sunday! Just had the 110 back from a £500 service inc all fluids, all new UJs, New heater blower motor as the old one was killed in that Salisbury Plains trip last year as some of you might recall! The old girl drives and feels so much better! best its ever been since I've bought it i'd say!
Actually fixed the speedo too after an year too! nice to feel the heat and know how fast I'm going now! when the heater was removed to fix the motor, there was a large hole in the top of the footwell from rust, that'll be why it filled with water so easily when it rains so duly plated and rustproofed! Handbrake was stripped and readjusted so it actually holds the car now! Next on the list is an full external roll cage being made by a local guy who builds King Of Valleys buggies and competes in it too! hopefully have it on around Xmas! rub and Dinitrol the chassis so it looks new, strip all the doors and galv them and rebuild. sort out the bi metallic corrosion on the panel below the rear doors. get some Mach 5's Lockers Ashcroft CV's and shafts Ashcroft ATB transfer box Slightly softer springs Extended braided brake pipes then its pretty much done! today was spent removing the roof rack and packing itv for posting as its been sold to an forum member, in preparation for fitting of an external roll cage

Yesterday whipped the top off the TD5 engine and replaced the injector seals and washers and injector loom, all the old stuff was absolutely caked in oil and grime and the o rings were all cracking and letting diesel into the oil!
Also replaced the starter after my 4 month old one started sticking so better have it refurbed! Now starts instantly first turn and runs an dream purring away, not bad at all for 200k miles! Going to drop the oil before the Pay and Play day tomorrow to make sure all the last of the diesel is out. Click image to enlarge Also fitted my new LED spot lights which are animals to be fair! Did some MTB uplifting today on steep muddy forest fire roads all afternoon loaded with 6 bikes and lads hanging off it and taking turns to drive!!

Thought Id update this
Im currently fitting brand new modus black puma middle row seats which I bought from Germany for £290! to match the puma fronts Majority of list is ticked off now but Ive added a few more items! New doors all round either galvanised or late model round top ones as the existing ones are  rust/lock wise!
new black sheep off road HD rear cross member as original is starting to get a little scabby. A visit to IRB Developments for perhaps a nice hybrid turbo and boost box plus a remap. Syncro Gearboxes Slickshift for a shorter tighter smoother throw on the gearstick. I Have bought a Protection and performace 110 Hard top full external roll cage for £400 and a friend is modifying it to fit my double cab for £150.
