Its sure as hell not anything like the Land Rover of 20 years ago, but this looks a cracking vehicle!
I know you will rip into it for its flared arches, consumption, and general non-defender-ness, but the big Germans (ML63 AMG, X6M, Cayenne S etc) need a rival and it may as well be British and go off road pretty well! http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Secret-new-ca...V-scooped/ Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Can't really see much through the camo skin but I'm guessing that the power uplifts are little more than ecu tweeks so the money would go alot further using a base model and aftermarket suppliers...

Forgive me for not getting it maybe, but cars like that may as well be made by Kia for all the appeal they have to me...ho hum. Then again, besides Landrovers (proper ones)I don't have much interest in many cars built since about 1985... 2011 110 USW

That's what I was saying, it won't be to everyone's tastes (or wallets!) but if people are going to buy these cars, then they may as well be built in Britain and support a british(ish) company, and help to keep land rover making the other cars that we really do like.
And there has to be some admiration of the engineering which goes into building such a car, and not only making it go fast but also incredibly refined, and to be honest nearly as capable off road as a defender. I've driven the new range rover and the new sport off road and the ability they have is incredible. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
