Seems good from what I've seen, has all the physical connections you'd require.

Looks decent but my vote would be the Pioneer.
Have a look here: http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/shop-online.aspx/cd-receiver Should be something of interest there, free warranty and delivery. Cheaper prices than anywhere else to boot. There is one down from£150 to £99 there too which has a good spec. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Only thing with the Pioneer is from the manual I think you need to have an extra adaptor just to have the remote turn on wire for the Amp which is really what you want as standard. (As I read it anyway)
The Kenwood will, I know which I'd choose but I am very biased... $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

without removing the default radio, is there any way i can find out if i have a flat or round pin plug ? I don't have the tags to remove the unit yet. Its a 2008 2.4 XS CSW if that helps.

You won't need any wiring adaptor it is ISO on the 2.4 Defender and all aftermarket HU's are ISO. Sadly this has now changed though on the newer 2.2's
You will need a single din cage though (but check that one doesn't come with it or you could end up with two!) If you wanted to get the original out with out buying the removal tool I can pop it out for you. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |
