Road noise through door
The troops have often commented how we had noise comming in through the second door passenger side on our Puma 110. It was most noticable on wet road where you would hear lots of splashing as if the window was down slightly. Had the door checked by the dealer and it was fitted o.k. and the window was fine. To cut a long story short I found the problem. The bottom rubber on the door was a little long long and it overlapped the door frame rubber being pushed out in the process leaving a little gap for sound to enter the vehicle. A simple snip with the scissors solver the problem. Might help somone else. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Indeed. I have a slightly different problem - I can see the road through the bottom seal on the door Smile

I think mine might be a bit short. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Afraid not. It is currently tied down in the back of the Puma, using the tie down rings to take to recycling. Always new those tie down rings would come in useful someday. Very Happy 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I have the same noise issue as well. For a time I though that the door was open.

Eutek,

I could possibly say that being the stature you are I'm surprised you can get the door shut at all! Rolling with laughter But having never met you, not knowing your size and being a fatty myself I'll not bother!

evening all.

have similar experience regarding road noise.

very close inspection found that there is a lack of sealant between the seat box and side panel. clear view of the road from inside!!

no water ingress though Very Happy about the only place it not coming in though Big Cry and cant get dealer to take it seriously.
