I happened across a shop soiled (bit of dust and missing packaging) full height genuine LR dog guard with all fittings at my local independent LR shop this morning, got it for £50 which I think is a bargain.
Took me 2 hrs to fit, instructions very easy to follow. Luckily the car has had a guard before, because the nutserts were already in the roof structure. My tips to anyone else fitting one of these. Tip both driver and passenger seats all the way forward from the start, it makes access much easier. Don't tighten any bolts or fixings until you have the whole guard in place. Finally, it will certainly keep my Working Cockers in the back, in fact, it would probably keep a large bear at bay! it certainly is a strong item very well secured. ![]() 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy |
