Got it back from Chris on Wednesday (Highly recommend him) and she went back to the dealer to have the tinting redone as the first job was atrocious.
No longer leaking on the driver side (they sealed the windscreen) but still a dribble into the passenger foot well dripping from or around the matrix intake. Hopefully soon I will get her back to keep for longer than 5 days lol. Here she is at CSK having her undercarriage sorted with Dinitrol Click image to enlarge |

So an update
I finally got notified today that my defender had the tints redone - took 2 weeks and they didn't even take the side sliding windows out After 13 days I decided to find out where it was via the tracker and then go down and speak the people Lancaster had subbed the work too - turns out the guy who does the tinting was on holiday for two weeks and had only returned that day. So went over to Lancaster and had a bit of a chat - I kept calm (god knows how). The other work (fixing the remaining leak and replacing a shoddy door card) hasn't even been started yet. I'm in hospital next week then on holiday the week after. So I have told them to keep it until the 18th at which time I expect it to fully sorted or they can keep it and give my money back so I can go to a better dealership. So - 6 weeks of ownership, they have it 4 (so far) ANY other work, it will be going to Chris because he actually 'gives a ' and therefore worth the 100 odd mile round trip. |

Sorry mate, but its time you got a tad angry with them, angry in a nice way is how I approach my dealer now over any issues and we seem to have found a nice understanding..
