Nope I don't think so sorry.
Their DoubleDin unit (asteroid smart) or add-on unit (asteroid tablet) will though but I'm not sure I've seen a single din with that Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

At the time there was a root, but it was V1.5 not V2.1, would be good if it worked though, There us a thread on the net somewhere about it, but I Cant find it on a work PC I'm afraid, |

looks ok, but i think you're better off getting a HU with designated rear cam feature if thats what you need.
that way it doesn't need to be USB and it should bring up the camera when in reverse automatically Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

You'd want an AV in for video sources that are external, not cheap though. Kenwood rear cams vary between 120 - 160 $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I put mine above the trim of the A pillar drivers side, it's common and LR fit to go on top of the steering column cowl too. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Dead easy for me...
I used a length of straightened out coat hanger to pull the mic end of the cable from the centre dash console out of the drivers end of the dash through the small vent which clears the window. Once I had control of it here I pushed it back in the vent and then up by the windscreen so it's at the base of the a pillar. Then I ran it up behind the a pillar (undo 2 screws, plastic comes off) and hung it out the top, and used the supplied sticky pad to stick it there. Looks neat & no visible cables Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Has anyone done this on a 2.2? Would I need some extra cabling to fit it as I believe the 2.2 radio wiring is not as "standard" as the 2.4?

Go to halfords or equivalent, they will have a look an sort you the right connector. Will be less than 10 and just a dead easy adaptor, no wiring needed. They will also give you the keys to remove the radio if you don't have them.
Then it's all the same as above Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Yeah from experience, at my local halfords anyway, there are some pretty good people. Just have to make sure they don't blindly follow their computer because defenders have been know to have the wrong parts fitted for the chassis number / model year.
I think some 2.2s had a standard ISO and some need a connector, but the halfords person will be able to tell you in a matter of seconds and they should have the keys as I said, probably worth buying a pair (think they're Ford derived?)
