They were very apologetic and a bit embarrassed I think, but we both got away without a scratch.

Was 'Rubbed' up by white van man He was trying to undertake on a single carriageway slip road! Quite how a stationary 90 waiting to pull into queuing traffic hit him I don't know. Once I'd pulled onto the verge to exchange details the shouting wit realised it was the road tapering and soon changed his tune. Thank you for side steps No damage to mine

He quite fancied his luck anyway........... Till I got out Duly reported to my insurance as 'information only ' Steve. No guarantee he won't try a claim, but done the best to protect myself. Technically it should be me claiming, as he hit me, but thanks to side steps nothing to claim for

hmm, they must have been concentrating on something else, fairly straightforward junction & not too blind. I used mine to get to a 4x4 response team meeting this evening, windy & wet it was too. Been busy, sprayed the checker plate black on the side steps, as everything else is black it looked odd to me.
Then pre-wired the new fuse block for the, fog lights, heated mirrors and Scangauge II. Also sprayed the new Puma Pod from Mud UK black ready for the Scangauge. Also removed the mirrors, fitted the heated elements and drilled out the mirror arms and pre-wired them. If the weather improves tomorrow then I'll fit the mirrors and complete the internal wiring. Will post a few pictures tomorrow. _______________________________ Puma Defender 90 |

Put my steering damper back on after it fell off while I was parking up at work
The fixing at the chassis end looked like it had undone itself, and let the damper swing down onto the steering guard, as it was still attached at the other end. Fortunately, all the cup and plain washers, bushes, and one of the nuts were still present laying on the steering guard, so I only had to find one nut. Fortunately I had one in an old box of bits at home, which was good as I don't know where you'd buy one of these from, as they're an odd size. Pete |
