Help required - Hand Brake Sticking On
Hi,

Over the last couple of days the handbrake seems to have stuck on a couple of times. Drove around the block and it came off. Sad

Is this a common fault, is there a simple trick to get it to release, is it knackered? Confused

Thanks Guys in advance Bow down

Mine was doing the same

Took it down to the mechanic and he sorted it in 5 mins - think he just pulled the cable through from below the car

Not a big deal but I didn't have time (or energy) to sort it myself

Adjusted the handbrake yesterday, both the shoes and cable - now a lot less play.

So far so good appears to be working fine Thumbs Up

If this doesn't work it will be off with the propshaft Big Cry
