Just crawled under our new 110 and saw this bracket on the crossmember. Is there something missing or is this normal?

Maybe it is to facilitate removing the transfer box, or perhaps a throwback to the transit CAD package. Who knows?

It is possibly the most often asked yet least answered question about the Puma Defender!

It looks to me although they are all like that as if it has the makings of being an anti vibrational fixing. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Surely one of the very earliest queries to have been asked here after the Puma was introduced Thumbs Up Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]
