A friend of mine here who has the limited edition "Hunter" has changed the standard lamps for the RDX LEDs. The truck came standard with front and rear yellow indicator lenses and red taillamp lenses. He first ordered the white RDX LED lamps, but then decided that they did not look right on a Keswick Green truck, and promptly ordered the colored RDX LEDs. And they look fabulous. There is something about improving things, but keep the original looks. The only white RDX LED lamps on his truck are the front parking lights. The white light color of these are a perfect match for his Nolden headlights.
I recently have been toying with the idea of calling Tim and ask if for my white SVX rear indicators, rear fog lamp, and real tail/stop lamps, there also exist same quality colored versions. I am kinda tempted to change the all white SVX lamps now and then to yellow/red.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I personally like all clear on the front, with clear indicator lenses on the back with red tail / brake lights

Thanks all for your views. I'm edging towards clear front and coloured rear as on my XS. This will be my birthday prezzies from SWMBO. I'll put the LED fog & reversing lights on my Christmas list. Whistle LANDYWATCH

I am switching my clear front indicators to amber. Prefer the traditional colours on a traditional/historic vehicle. Besides clear bulbs are easier to get old of if one blows & I have no spares with me.

I wish LR had made the non-NAS lights with LEDs an option..... Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Hi, I fitted clear to the front of my 90 and coloured to the rear. All supplied by Mobile Centre. Really happy with them. I can supply photos tomorrow if anyone wants to check it out. Cheers. JohnnyB.

United Kingdom 2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
I know I am resurrecting an old thread, thought it better than starting a fresh one on the same topic.

I have been running around with the RDX clear led stop and indicator replacement lights on the rear of my Landy for the past 10 months. The problem is, the more I look at them the more Chavy I think they look and I am thinking of ordering some more RDX led stop and indicator lights, but this time in the traditional colours.

Does anyone have a photo of the rear of their Landy with the traditional coloured led setup - it should hopefully help me make my mind up on this. (I might add that the RDX lights have been faultless and are very good, just changed my mind with the look that I think looks best).

Any help would be greatly appreciated chaps.

clear led indicators back and front , rear red lense led stop/tail , 2x reverse leds , 2x led red lense fog

tried all clear on the rear and didn't like the look , I like the mix of red and clear on the rear and think it has the right balance of colour
