Mine did the same, it was fixed by replacing the ECU (still under warranty)

Heine - my Defender is like my pets, children, wife, etc - I know it inside out.
I KNOW that it will not fail me if I attend to early warning signs early enough. The early morning starts is just an irritation - I have enough battery power (350 a/h) when 3rd battery box is attached to "drive" me on starter motor to closest downhill to run start !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Defender TD5 110 CSW 2000 British Racing Green (what 's remaining between scratches). Snorkel, extra fuel tank, water tank, double batteries, winch, spots |
