Not a lot - even a change to more “grippy” tyres as I did for Winter conditions in Bosnia (I was fed up with Polos and Citroens on skinny little tyres zooming past me while I was struggling with snow chains) can cause problems. Fair to say though, that even though the rears on my TD5 got replaced so frequently that they could almost change themselves, I haven’t (yet) had one fail on my TDCi.
Are they more problematical to replace than the older type, which can be done in no time at all? Peter |
