tick over between 750 rpm and 900 ?
I think I've noticed this before and just curious what might cause it.

noticed today while in traffic the tick over on the gauge looks to be about 750 rpm but while in neutral I noticed it raise to about 900 rpm.

is this normal and what would cause it?

not the air con (it was off) but yes I guess it could have been the cooling fan (don't know and wouldn't have thought it would have been warm enough for it but may be) ?

Did you have anything electrical running at the time? Especially high load items? WeWillWinπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Turn the radio up and just drive the car Thumbs Up honeslty their is nothing wrong it I recon hehe.

You really need to start to enjoy the car a little more for what it is and stop worrying about it so much by finding little faults here and there etc etc. Bow down Bow down

Your worrying your self to much about it going wrong.

I did the other day.....

I was grinning like a some kid at a jelly and ice cream party ...... over took numerous people revving round 3k regular and even 4k - was great, really smooth. just as I would expect it should be all the time.

I'm still convinced there's either a sensor, electrical (replacement ecu and electrical connectors falling off due to corrosion within first few months - perhaps an intermittent issue with injector?) or egr valve issue. its going on one last time then I'l have start paying to replace parts and if that doesn't sort it then I'm pretty sure it'll be going - I can only take so much (and so you can you lot Laughing )
