Had the roof lining and sun visors trimmed in black suede the other day and decided that the rear side panel trims would look nicer if they matched so i decided to paint them in matt black and i must say they look very nice. I will add some pictures when its all built up, hopefully at the weekend after I have fitted the dynamat.

Finally uploaded a picture of my interior plastic window surrounds, all painted in matt black to match the black roof lining. They look great fitted just cant get a decent picture with the tinted windows and dark interior.

Did you paint the interior plastic trim yourself or get someone else to do it?
I'm wanting to get my interior black but don't want it to look to look badly done if I try myself. Defender 90 - Tomb Raider LE Discovery 5 HSE - yes, even despite the ugly backend. Range Rover 4.2SC - Gone and still being missed |

I'm wanting to get my interior black but don't want it to look to look badly done if I try myself.[/quote] It was a Professional job, did a test on one of the small surrounds first, looked good but was a little too shiny for my liking so had some more paint mixed with a little more matting agent and it did the trick nicely. Covered well and does not seem to scratch easily. I did paint the plastics in my 300tdi myself with satin black spray paint and i was happy with the way they turned out. But wanted the perfect finish for the 2.2 |
