Hi
My 2.4 puma seems to have a similar intermittent problem.
Twice now, after being unused for a few days has been difficult to start, runs rough as though it's firing on 3 then clears & seems fine.
Local guy, having spoken to LR bod is talking new ECU which have apparently been modified since 2009.
????? ££££££££ !!!!!!!!
Any miracle workers out there?
Luv you

I can't possibly see how leaving the car for an extended period and then having an issue could be related to the ecu (unless its related to low battery / charge)

air getting into the fuel line seems fair more likely to me.

SB shame your so far away or I'd have a look, I'd be surprised if the ecu is faulty to be honest. It sounds like they are clutching at straws a little.
