Loom LR005920 for Defender towbar wiring?
We will be taking delivery of our 90 in 10 days or so.
We are having the Landrover towbar fitted, different to the item you U.K. guys use, to comply with Aussie "rules"!
But in our '13 defender brochure, for the wiring, it lists a loom p/n LR005920, which simply plugs into an existing plug in the rear wheel arch,..... just plugs in.
Is this the loom that you guys use, or do you splice into existing wiring somewhere else?

I have just looked a TOPIX and it looks like the wiring should be in place with a sealed cap on the connector.

Yes, that is on the vehicle, but you need a loom to connect that lead to the towbar.

don't be tempted to buy a non-LR loom, the OEM one is very well sealed. Just plugs in, takes 10 mins to fit Thumbs Up

If you're having the LR towbar fitted from new, won't it come with the appropriate electrics as part of the kit? Confused Darren

mine didn't, just had the tow bar....but i did buy mine at 4 months from someone who had to leave the country unexpectedly for a new job so i don't know the full original order details BM52
