Tow bar electrics
I'm fitting S electrics to a 09 def. On the new loom there is a connector with a pink/blue and yellow/brown wire, this is supposed to connect to the N electric's loom at the n/s/r but there is no connector there, just loose wires there colours being purple, green/brown then higher up another purple with a blank in it then two red/yellow which are connected within the loom. Both the N and S looms are gen L/R and the S kit is for post 07 defenders. I've looked at an 07 and 08 def with single electrics on them and the have the same N electrics loom as the 09 . So does anyone know which wires connect to which ???

tow bar installation and electronics
I am adding this to the related thread for others.

Got a second hand Land Rover tow bar off eBay for £50 delivered to the house last week and fitted it today Very Happy

Unlike others I really struggled to find the loom socket so have added a photo as I may not be the only one Embarassed

Made sure the plastic fastener was put back in position after connecting the male and female connections - the are other reasons for the rattles Laughing

The cable is not too neat coming out from under the plastic shroud but will sort this later

Now assembled it needs a last coat of paint and some more ACF 50 on the bolts and nuts. Not happy about the cable but will make it safe later Wink
