Had a good result from land rover customer services
Had low oil pressure light coming on at idle and asked Beadles sidcup to take a look, Diagnosis oil pressure relief valve maybe new oil pump at a discounted cost of £820 . This is on a 2006. 56 defender 90td5. With 27000 on the clock , So phoned land rover customer services explained ive had 7 defenders 2 new blah blah. Anyway picked up car today and as a goodwill gesture they agreed to pay half the cost Result

Great news.

They often do surprise - when my old TD5 110 was out of warranty and at about 78k miles the rear wheel bearing went.

Got recovered to Lancasters who said they take it up with customer services as it was unusual to fail and they covered the full cost between them as they felt it should last longer ... Thumbs Up John
